Already a whole month in Ireland

So it turns out I was technically living here illegally for a month due to the strangely missing immigration checks on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Another day, another castle

Particularly while in Scotland, it became a running joke with my dad that Scotland = Castles. According to him, every time I'd step outside the door I'd be off to see another one.

I've got a new stamp in my passport!

It's a shame I need to renew my passport soon as I've just gotten another stamp in it from my trip to Berlin, Germany, at the end of January.

Christmas in Edinburgh

Unfortunately I didn't get a lovely white Christmas this year, in fact it was almost like home with blue skies and sun - but with a cold wind and getting dark by 4pm!
